Southeastern Early College High School (SECHS) isĀ  a public high school that opened on the campus of Southeastern Community College in August 2006. Columbus County Schools and Southeastern Community College worked together to create this new school to serve ninth through twelfth grades. Early college high schools are small, personalized, academically rigorous schools that blend high school and college into a coherent educational program. The program was designed to provide students with a high school diploma and two year associates degree within four to five years after entering the program. College tuition, transportation, and textbooks are provided to the student free of charge. At SECHS, we focus mainly on academics. Therefore, we do not have an athletic program, but have many extracurricular activities.
